Job Description

OVERVIEW

This position is responsible for design, development and delivery of education and training for UHM operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

Other duties may be assigned.

  • Create training content for classroom, webinar and elearning programs covering operations from processing through post closing
  • Conduct training classes in person and via webex
  • Ensure Partner needs are met before, during and after training
  • Research, understand and articulate agency and UHM specific underwriting guidelines, policies and procedures
  • Work with subject matter experts across UHM to validate accuracy of content
  • Support partners who have questions or needs related to training and training content
  • Operate UHMs learning management system, as needed to facilitate instructor lead online programs
  • Honor the UHM code of conduct
  • Ability to travel to conduct training as needed

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of processing, underwriting or origination experience with Govt., Conv., and DU/LP
  • Minimum 2 years of presenting classroom training, or equivalent
  • General knowledge of mortgage products and processes
  • Proficient with MS word, excel and ppt required
  • Encompass Loan Origination system knowledge is preferred
