Job Description

The Unified Government of WyCo/KCK is seeking Public Safety Dispatchers for the Kansas City, KS Police Department to receive citizen's complaints and requests for services of public safety units; dispatch public safety units to respond to calls and maintain records on each unit in the assigned division. High School Diploma or GED; 3 years stable work experience; excellent communication skills and ability to deal with stressful conditions; must be able to type 40wpm; able to work various shifts, holidays and weekends.  $18.13/hr.
