Job Duties
You believe that finding and retaining the best talent can help change the future of medicine. As Manager of Compensation and Personnel Services at the renowned David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, your HR skills can help ensure there is always top-tier talent to continue training the finest medical professionals in the world. In this role, you'll work with the Human Resources Director to oversee all personnel functions for the school of medicine, including compensation, incentive plans, and performance reviews. You'll take part in strategic projects and be the primary contact person for all Human Resources departments. You can make an immediate impact at the David Geffen School of Medicine, which has been ranked "Best In The West" for 14 straight years and has 2,000 full-time staff members; almost 1,300 residents; more than 750 medical students; and nearly 400 Ph.D. candidates. SELECTED DUTIES: Directing change initiatives Participating in campus committees and task forces Leading regular meetings with Human Resources staff Overseeing performance reviews and policy compliance

Job Qualifications
Minimum of five years as a Human Resource generalist, with two years as a supervisor Compensation assessment skills, including market analysis and equity reviews Strong project management skills and the ability to lead high-level initiatives Strong analytical skills, with database management skills preferred Excellent communication and presentation skills Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred
