Job Description

Job Duties
Under the direction of the Virtualization Platform Services Manager, the Virtualization Administrator will provide technical support responsibilities for various hypervisors (VMware ESX, Hyper-V) and server hardware (HP, Cisco UCS, IBM x86). The candidate will be working closely with the Virtualization Architect to provide leading edge Virtualization solutions to the organization. The Virtualization Administrator duties will also include system monitoring, optimization, troubleshooting and maintenance of a variety of systems, various Windows operating systems, and hardware platforms for our Epic EMR implementation running on Citrix XenApp. Must participate in the weekly rotational after-hours on-call support. Must be available for after-hours on-call 24x7 support.

Job Qualifications
Required Experience *3 -4 years VMWare ESX / Hyper-V or combination of both. Strong understanding of Virtual environments, Vsphere Vcenter, Hyper-V Virtual Machine Manager. 3-4 years Microsoft Server Operating System and Windows Administration experience. Experience with HP and Cisco UCS hardware installation and maintenance *Preferred Microsoft or Vmware Certification *Good understanding of the organizations goals and objectives *Good interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills *Technical documentation skills *Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language *Self motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail *Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment *Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment *Good written and oral communication skills
