Job Description

Job Duties
The administrative analyst works under the general supervision of the FPG Cash Control Manager to provide independent, administrative, analytical, and program support. The incumbent will work with the FPG Cash Control Manager to integrate quality measures with other programs in the Health System, including training, implementation, and onsite auditing. Responsible for coordinating activities that support use of Cash Controls. Activities include (but not limited to) Cash Control in office support, training, and auditing; collaboration with the Payments Solutions and Compliance Department, Audit and Advisory, UCLA Corporate Finance and work with the practice managers to ensure accuracy. Responsibilities also include maintaining the Faculty Practice Group (FPG) website Cash Control policies. Travel to all UCLA Ambulatory practice throughout the greater Southern California area is required. Other special projects as assigned. Conduct on-site audits to ensure all ambulatory practices are in compliance with UCLA policies; provide independant, administrative, and analytical support; provide project management support for initiatives related to Cash Controls data; conduct Cash Controls training sessions for new sites, managers, supervisors, and directors; coordinate with internal departments to ensure Cash Controls policies meet UCOP standards; assist with onboarding of new practices related to Cash Control; patient satisfaction survey- Quality Data Management.

Job Qualifications
Ability to perform all Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Excel with accuracy and appropriate formatting. Skill in reading and understanding documents written in standard English text for informational communication, action and distribution. Writing skills to compose edit and proofread routine business correspondence using appropriate English grammar, syntax, spelling and punctuation. Ability to communicate orally and in written form clearly and succinctly. Ability to independently analyze information or problems identifies relevant factors, trends, and options, then implement and monitor solutions. Ability to initiate, develop, and maintain relationships with patients, co-workers, administrative personnel, managers, directors, and clinicians. Ability to collaborate and work effectively with diverse groups of people in order to accomplish tasks and/or meet goals and objectives. Skill in organizing and prioritizing workload in order to meet deadlines in light of changing, heavy workload and competing requirements. Ability to perform job duties in a detailed, accurate, and efficient manner. Skill in performing with frequent interruptions and/or distractions. Ability to work in a stressful and fast-paced environment. Working knowledge of the organization and where to go to get issues resolved. Ability to work occasional overtime, as needed. Working knowledge of University policies, procedures and forms, as they relate to performance of job duties. Knowledge of Medical Terminology. Experience in leading, facilitating and sustaining service redesign and improvement in a clinical setting using proven methodologies. (LEAN) Experience supporting clinical colleagues through change with sound knowledge of change management principles and theory. Ability to travel to multiple clinics Ability to manage various projects with minimal supervision
