Job Description

Job Duties
The candidate will assess and treat outpatients and inpatients with swallowing, communication, and cognitive disorders. The candidate will adequately document services provided to patients. The candidate will follow applicable Medical Center, Clinic, Joint Commission, Dept of Public Health policies and procedures. The candidate will interact with patients, their families, and Medical Center Staff in a customer friendly manner. *position may convert to career*

Job Qualifications
Candidate will have a minimum of a Master's degree in Speech Pathology and a Speech Pathology license from the State of California. The candidate must be able to competently and independently assess and treat complex patients with swallowing, communication, and cognitive disorders. Candidate must write well. Candidate needs to be sufficiently computer literate to efficiently document using word processing programs and the electronic medical record. *position may convert to career*
