Job Description

Job Duties
Administrative 1. Provide administrative support to the research teams including, but not limited to, data processing, data logging, data entry, transcription, correspondence, follow-up activities, event planning and coordination. 2. Organize and maintain project-related documents, databases, and resources. 3. Organize project related meetings, events, and teleconference calls. 4. Coordinate the development, promotion, and dissemination of research products, including materials developed for websites. 5. Respond to emails and communications from research team in a timely fashion. Transcription 1. Transcribe into Microsoft Word digital audio files of meetings, field-based interviews and oral histories. Research 1. Maintain Endnote (or similar) database of relevant peer reviewed journal articles as well as other references including key websites 2. Assist in the development of reports and documentation of progress, including but not limited to analyzing data, describing findings, developing charts/tables, and assembling powerpoint presentations. 3. Assist in research proposal development and assembly including formatting and gathering various portions of proposal from key researchers. 4. Conduct Internet and library literature searches and reviews, including familiarity with databases such as Lexis-Nexis, PubMed, PsycInfo, etc. 5. Assist with ongoing review submissions to IRB and funding agencies. 6. Adhere to Research and Evaluation Protocols related to client confidentiality, safety, and data quality. 7. Conduct Interviews according to protocol as assigned. 8. Other duties as requested by the research team.

Job Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in health related field or commensurate experience required. - R Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of research methods including Privacy and Confidentiality required. - R Demonstrated research and data analysis skills required. Experience in data analysis is a plus.-R Excellent speaking and written skills, attention to detail, and strong initiative required. - R Ability to communicate and work effectively as a team member. - P Proficiency with MAC and PC based computers and MS Office software, including Access and Excel, required. - R Experience with Endnote (or equivalent) preferred. - P Must have access to own transportation; approximately 5% travel required. - R Excellent typing skills required. - R Ability to work independently and use sound judgment. - P Fluent in Spanish (verbal and written). - R
