Job Description

Job Duties
Responsible for the development and implementation of customized and targeted compliance learning, structured communication initiatives, and special compliance program projects. Develop, plan and execute on a compliance learning and communications strategy, develop highly creative, customized learning content and communications, and develop and maintain a tailored organizational learning and communications plan and calendar addressing risk within the organization and its discrete compliance risk populations. Also, responsible for special projects that further the compliance program's effectiveness.

Job Qualifications
Extensive experience in healthcare and knowledge of all elements of corporate compliance in relationship to practice plan manager and health care delivery, including strategy, business planning, operations, and finance. Prior experience in the development, planning, and execution of a compliance learning and communications strategy. Prior experience in an academic medical center or complex integrated healthcare delivery system preferred. Knowledge of the issues and challenges facing the clinical, education and research components of the Health Sciences with a full understanding of, and ability to adopt compliance management efforts to effectively respond to changes in health care and research practices, legal/regulatory changes and technological trends. Knowledge of approaches and methods of process improvement, including planning, setting priorities, systematic performance assessment, and implementation. Ability to accomplish results and effectively promote effective compliance management and practice across units with business plans amid competing priorities in a complex multi-mission organization. Ability to effectively communicate and educate in a way that builds and maintains a climate of trust and inspires commitment from others to achieve organization goals. Ability to work effectively with a wide range of faculty, management and staff, as well as representatives of regulatory agencies and business. Demonstrate and set high standards of behavior, performance, quality, credibility and integrity. Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training. Graduate degree in relevant area preferred (e.g. Juris Doctor, Master's degree in Business, Health Care Administration, Public) Certification in healthcare compliance (CHC, CHC-F, CHRC and/or CCEP) is preferred.
