Job Description

Job Duties
Under the general supervision of UCLA Health Operation Mend's Director and the direction of the Program Manager of UCLA Health Sound Body Sound Mind/Executive Director of the Sound Body Sound Mind Foundation, the Assistant Director of Development for Sound Body Sound Mind Foundation and UCLA Health Sound Body Sound Mind will be responsible for implementing the fundraising goals and objectives of the UCLA Health Sound Body Sound Mind Program. This individual will assist in the design and implementation of a comprehensive development program for UCLA Health Sound Body Sound Mind. Responsible for coordinating strategies for fundraising, stewardship, cultivation, and development communications. The incumbent will work with with the Program Manager of UCLA Health Sound Body Sound Mind/Executive Director of the Sound Body Sound Mind Foundation to develop annual operating plans and evaluate progress to goals. This individual will work with the Program Manager/Executive Director and development colleagues to research, organize, and draft proposals for grants, gifts, and other donations. A high level of organizational and strategic awareness is expected.

Job Qualifications
Candidate will have a track record in development program implementation and fundraising Skill in developing successful strategies for identification, cultivation, and solicitation of individuals, corporations and foundations Excellent oral and written communication skills demonstrated by proficiency in the use of language and composition of correspondence Interpersonal and collaboration skills to work efficiently in a team environment Ability to analyze and summarize information and data and efficiently prepare concise reports Computer proficiency in a number of programs including the Microsoft Office, all popular social media platforms, and Salesforce. Excellent strategic and planning skills to ensure program implementation is successful The ability to navigate and be effective within a complex organization Ability to work independently and report to supervisor on a regular basis and in a timely manner Skilled in management of time and setting priorities Consistently demonstrates a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail Some experience with Adobe Design Suite is desired
