Job Description

Job Duties
Responsible for timely keying, posting and balancing of collections for the Faculty Practice Group Physicians' Billing Office. Monitor posting activity, AR updates, and system changes to ensure timely and accurate posting of lock box and mail remittance cash applied via cash posting, direct entry or other. Responsible for clearing unmatched items, unidentified cash, cash related bulk accounts and NPI transactions. Act as conduit for problem issues related to missing or misapplied cash. Hands on Manager to identify cash posting issues and recommend solutions for approval by Director. Delegate work to Supervisor on a daily basis, provide direction and review as needed. Review weekly production reports of staff; determine problem areas; implement guidelines to increase production and maximize collections. Organize workflow, identify problems and recommend viable solutions to maintain smooth and efficient billing operations.

Job Qualifications
At least 5 years of professional billing experience. Proficiency in payment posting and credit resolution. Prior management experience is required. Epic Resolute PB experience preferred.
