Job Duties
The Solution Specialist architects, configures, customizes and implements the Collibra Data Governance Center software and Data Quality software tools in collaboration with Data Architecture, Informatics Architecture and other developers. The specialist designs, develops, and tests customizations to the Collibra operating model leveraging ETL and API technologies to load datasets to support requirements for various data governance projects/use cases that serve analytical teams throughout the health sciences. The specialist ensures that all configurable processes and code are scalable and well-performing, and that the content of the data governance center is reliable. The solution specialist also supports workflow development and Collibra Connect API integration activities. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Program Operations · Work with stakeholders to identify and understand source data issues and opportunities. · Standardize documentation, rules for Program Operations. · Promote reusability of Governed assets. · Monitor Data Governance program performance. · Facilitate the documentation and maintenance of metadata in Collibra DGC using standardized project documentation. · Act as a facilitation expert to guide Data Governance use case activation from start to completion. · Serve as subject matter expert on relevant tools. · Ensure the accuracy and completeness of metadata for the partners we support. · Provide testing and support during engagements with customers. · Ensure corporate metadata standards are adhered to. · Work to ensure metadata is integrated into SDLC standards. Data Governance Center Activities · Implement and Configure Application to support use cases and projects · Design, Develop and test Configuration of Collibra DGC assets to support use cases and projects · Perform unit and performance tests related to Collibra DGC assets. · Configure Collibra DGC assets, assignment rules and relations to accommodate changes in source systems and new business user requirements. · Design, Configure and Deploy workflows to support governed processes with Activiti · Design, Configure and Deploy Collibra Connect integrators and custom APIs · Monitor Collibra Console for search optimization and high performance · Document and support uploads of key assets to relevant domains · Onboard Data Stewards and engage during Data Stewardship Council meetings · Identify use cases for Reference Data management and develop processes for Master Data promotion path. · Define business needs, data usage requirements, and validation metrics. · Create models including assets, relationships, domains, and communities. · Serve as a liaison between business partners and the metadata engineers. · Define and document quality policy, processes, and procedures. · Conduct Data Quality Assessments for Critical Data Elements · Define and articulate Dimensions of Data quality for program operations · Schedule and oversee recurring reporting processes to support data quality improvement activities · Propose candidate areas for DQ improvement · Integrate DQ/CDE activities into project lifecycle · Assist with data analysis on potential source systems including data profiling as required. · Engage in self-learning and relevant training

Job Qualifications
· Strong SQL programming skills, particularly for Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server. · Strong understanding of dimensional modeling and ETL design processes. · Exposure to software product configuration, requirements capture, configuration and deployment · Experience with Software implementation methodologies, Agile, SCRUM · Experience with Software Development Lifecycle and environment promotion · Excellent understanding of dimensional modeling and ETL design processes. · Exposure to Enterprise Data Governance, Master Data Management concepts and practical implementations · Experience with ETL/ELT, data warehousing/data marts and hands on experience with data services, API development and REST architecture · Experience gathering requirements and translating them to technical design documents · Experience in analysis, data relationships, data aggregation, and summarization with the ability to consolidate data from disparate systems is preferred. · Ability to comprehend relationships among data field elements in the Epic electronic health record, such as flowsheets, notes, encounters, lab results, billing, and paid claims. · Undergraduate degree in engineering, computer science, information systems, or other related field is preferred or relevant work experience · Work experience with health care data is required. · Some exposure with software implementation of healthcare data · Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with business partners and business experts · Strong attention to detail
