Job Description

Location: 10880 Wilshire Boulevard

Provide technical support for quality management services within a university medical system, including programming, database development and systems analysis; gather requirements, and design, build and maintain applications and portals for quality management initiatives, collaboratives and research; gather requirements, and design and build databases and data submission export workflow for data submissions and reports to outside agencies; design, build and test quality and performance indicators and metrics; serve as system administrator and perform business intelligence integration for vendor based systems.

Requirement:Bachelor's degree in healthcare technology, information technology, computer science, biotechnology or a related field. Three years of experience in job offered, or as software engineer or a related occupational title. Of the three years of required experience, 2 years of experience in healthcare industry required, including healthcare data report development using SQL, MS Access, Crystal Reports and Tableau. Of the three years of required experience, 1 year of experience must include working with extract, transform, load (ETL) environments including SSIS 2008 or Pentaho Data Integration and experience with Dashboard development including Tableau or Business Objects. The following skills do not require a specific number of years of experience. Employer will accept verification of knowledge or experience from past work or education: demonstrated experience in data management and system integration; demonstrated skill in Pay for Performance measures and creating Quality Measurement Measures in tandem with specifications from the Integrated Healthcare Association Pay for Performance Program Manual; demonstrated experience in Build Data Warehouse, Data Mart and databases; demonstrated experience in monitoring and supporting Meaningful Use (MU) reporting out of Electronic Health Record (EHR) which involves generation, validation and distribution of data for both Objective Measures and Quality Measures as per the CMS (Centre for Medicare and Medicaid Services) using Microsoft SQL server, SAP Crystal Reports and Microsoft Excel; demonstrated experience in maintaining and monitoring the system-driven batches/backfills that compile MU Objective (Obi) and Quality Measures (QM) data; demonstrated ability in creating SSIS package to migrate data between different systems; demonstrated ability in creating SSRS and Clarity Reports and scheduling them to Infoview, Business Objects and EPIC using EPIC-Crystal Integration; and demonstrated experience in writing measures according to the specifications from government agencies and creating Data Extracts for government agencies.

Salary: $74,381/year to $120,600/year
