Position Description: Provide quality administrative and financial services to the Business Unit/Project

Reports to: Senior Project Accountant or Accounting Manager

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

The Co-Op/Intern will provide support to the Accounting & Finance Department and to the field operations team, or in other Business Unit departments Facilitate the timely and accurate data entry process for project specific vendor invoices and prepare multi-project invoices for distribution to the central financial center for input and posting. Provide administrative duties as related to invoice processing (ie vendor setup and updates, sales and use tax reporting, collection and distribution of client tax exempt certificates).

* Facilitate subcontractor and vendor invoice distributions to the department by organizing daily mail and invoice submissions via email. Reconcile with large vendor accounts monthly to ensure invoices are being funded timely.
* Prepare journal entries and distribute to the accountant for final review.
* Perform other duties as assigned.

* Minimum two years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Proven written and verbal communication abilities.
* Proficiency with computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and Windows). SAP experience is a plus.
* Must understand basic accounting principles.
* Need to be able to multi-task, meet deadlines, have great attention to detail and have the ability to self check work.
* Excellent work ethic and interpersonal skills are a must.
