NetSpend is seeking a Production Support Analyst to support various areas of the processing environment by automating processes, troubleshooting problems with various internal departments, and configuring and maintaining software platforms within our primary, secondary, and certification environments.


- As a member of a team, conduct software component installation and monitoring within a 24/7 Production Environment
- Analyst and recommend requirements and improvements of current application and systems platforms
- Maintain and create documentation via an internal Wiki which details aspects of the NetSpend processing environment
- Follow strict procedural information to affect Application and OS patching
- Participate in 1st level 7x24x365 support for mission-critical server systems
- Periodically carry an on-call pager within an 8-week rotation (1 week on, 7 weeks off)


- Familiarity with working within an Enterprise level of Linux and Windows
- Must be detail oriented and able to maintain quality during procedural activities
- Ability to adhere to NetSpend procedures for data handling
- Able to effectively navigate and effect change within a Unix shell environment
- Must possess basic conceptual understanding of processing and health checking within a Linux or Windows operations system environment
- Ability to follow precise instructions to affect systems changes and/or testing
- Willingness to learn and improve upon current procedural operations

Available Shifts:

Shift A (12 hours) - 07:00am - 07:00pm (Sunday - Tuesday , Rotating every other Wednesday)

Shift B (12 hours) - 07:00pm - 07:00am (Sunday - Tuesday , Rotating every other Wednesday)

Shift C (12 hours) - 07:00am - 07:00pm (Thursday - Saturday , Rotating every other Wednesday)

Shift D (12 hours) - 07:00pm - 07:00am (Thursday - Saturday , Rotating every other Wednesday)

As provided in NetSpend's Background Check policy, eligible candidates may be subject to drug, criminal history, and credit checks, which will be conducted and used in accordance with applicable local, state, and federal laws
