Position Summary:

The intern/Co-Op position will involve the completion of improvement projects within the Logistics or Finance departments. The position will also involve any other responisibilities as described by management in order to improve and/or support plant operation.

Essential Functions:

Develop and maintain positive working relationships with all departments

Perform activities in coordination with other ZFTG departments related to process improvement, evaluation and documentation.

Develop, monitor, analyze, and improve KPIs for assigned projects.

Utilize basic quality tools in the support of continuous improvement, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions.

Participates in departmental meetings to aid in organizational planning, reaching objectives, and reviewing activities, results and policies.

Follow all company and customer policies and procedures.

Must support manufacturing's goal of continuous improvement.

Work on other duties and special projects as it relates to the position.


Essential Skills and Experience:

Working towards a degree in Industrial Engineering, Business, or Finance with a minimum cummulative of GPA 3.0. - Please attach the inofficial transcript to your application.

Excellent written and oral communication (to include presentations).

Fluent application of position related software (Microsoft Office)

Good time management and prioritizing skills

Strong organizational and task management skills.

Capable of making sound decisions in a timely manner.

Interest in Automotive Manufacturing

Self-starter who takes pride in their work product

Preferred Skills and experience:

Strong statistical background

VBA/Macro Programming; German skills preferred
