Job Description

Trinity Highway Products is searching for an Engineering Fabricator in our Rocklin, CA location. As an Engineering Fabricator, you'll fabricate, assembly and install a variety of engineered product proto-types under the direction of the Engineering Technician Supervisor.

Trinity Highway Products division is Ahead of the Curve™- in safety and innovation as a leading manufacturer of highway guardrail, highway guardrail end treatments, temporary and permanent crash cushions, truck-mounted attenuators, and cable barrier systems.

Monday - Friday: 6:00am - 2:30pm

What you'll do:

* Layout and fabricate component parts from a variety of materials such as metal, plastic, wood...etc.
* Assemble prototypes into sub-assemblies in preparation for installation and subsequent testing
* Work from work-orders, engineering drawings, sketches and verbal instructions to meet necessary quality requirements and time frames required to safely complete projects
* Install/remove product prototypes, troubleshoot issues, suggest enhancements and communicate to appropriate parties for future installations
* Utilize various fabrication, assembly and installation tools including but not limited to MIG Welding, vertical band saw, drill press, CNC plasma, CNC milling, press brake forming, grinders...etc.

What you'll need:

* High School graduate or equivalent
* Minimum of 3 years experience in a fabrication shop and/or construction related field
* Working knowledge of fabrication and installation tools to include hand tools and power tools
* Working knowledge of forklifts, Ariel lifts, skid steer, CNC plasma, CNC milling, Auto Desk Inventor, BobCAD CNC programming, Torchmate CAD...etc.(Desired)
* Ability to read, interpret and work from work-orders, engineering drawings and sketches
* Ability to perform basic math calculations including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
* Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs, push, pull or pry objects while performing various job tasks
* Reliable and predictable attendance
