Lead Clinician/Physician

Lead Clinician/Physician 1 or more positions Polson, St. Ignatius Tribal Health Department

The successful applicant must have successful completion of a course of study leading to the Degree of Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy at an approved school of Medicine or Osteopathy. The successful of completion of post-graduate training in Family Medicine or Internal medicine in an approved residency program. Current ACLS Certification is required. Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Controlled Substance Registration Certificate. Require 2 year of clinical experience after residency completion. Prefer 5+ years. Level 1- Meets minimum qualification with 2+ years of experience. Level 2- 7+ years of experience. Level 3- 15+ years of experience. All applicants must submit a Tribal application, a copy of academic transcripts, certifications, proof of state licensure, copy of valid driver’s license, if claiming Tribal preference, proof of enrollment from a federally recognized Tribe if other than CSKT, and if claiming veteran’s preference, a copy of the DD214 must be submitted. FAILURE TO SUBMIT ALL OF THE ABOVE INFORMATION WILL RESULT IN IMMEDIATE DISQUALIFICATION DURING THE SCREENING PROCESS. This position is a Testing Designated Position (TDP) within the definition of the CSKT Drug Testing policy. The successful applicant, if not already employed by the Tribes must pass a pre-hire drug test, subject to random testing, and serve a mandatory six (6) month probationary period. Salary for Lead Physician Level 1 - $86.51 to $99.43; Lead Physician Level 2 - $96.63 to $111.06; Lead Physician Level 3 - $114.97 to $132.15 per hour, plus benefits.
