Job Description

I am working with a fantastic client located in the Houston area that is looking for an Application Developer. The client offers an excellent compensation and great benefits package.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a Project Manager for designated tasks while properly proposing to IT Management project status and goals, as well as conducting presentations
  • Explore, create, record, arrange and support standard or customized software processes to allow protocols to internal or external data bases
  • Coordinate with sustaining consulting companies to request software changes from internal or external business resources.
  • Build credentials in FTP utility to allow business partners to upload or download data files
  • Produce or modify Crystal Reports for users

Qualifications:

Must have an Associate's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Information Systems, or related major from an accredited college or university; additional years' experience can be substituted alternatively for an undergraduate degree.

Bachelor's degree preferred.
Minimum three plus (3+) years of related IT developer experience required.

  • Aware of different programming codes including Visual Basic, Groovy, and C# for code diagnosis and correction
  • Knowledge of JD Edwards Object Management Workbench (OMW) programming tools.
  • Understanding of EDI processes
  • Power to use multiple programming tools (XML, C# & ASP.NET mandatory)
  • Knowledge of Windows operating systems
  • Cognizant of Crystal and Hubble/Insight reporting tools
  • Experience with Oracle business service tools
