Job Description

Do you want to make an impact and lead a software development team in successfully delivering products to the users as well as create the strategy and IT road-map for applications? then this is the position for you. This is a Direct hire position based in the Burbank, CA area. You will need to be able to influence "C" - level executives for collaborative planning and execution.


  • Bachelor's degree. Master Degree highly preferred
  • 5+ years of experience managing development/software engineers
  • 15+ years of experience working in software development
  • 7+ years of Linux experience
  • Solid experience in .NET and Web Services, with knowledge of Java and Angular
  • Proficient with implementing SOAP and REST style web services
  • Strong experience with PHP frameworks like Symfony and applied knowledge of numerous design patterns
  • Expert level programming and debugging skills in PHP, jQuery, JSON and Javascript.
  • Practiced virtualization technologies such as AWS, Vagrant, VMware, VirtualBox, or Docker in development and production


  • Ability to work effectively in a coordinating role across multiple disciplines, a strong, open and collaborative work style, customer-service orientation with the ability to translate business goals into information management requirements, and experience negotiating contracts with IT vendors and consultants
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in building and managing teams
  • Ability to prioritize competing or conflicting requests and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Lead the software development team to drive successful delivery of all products while contributing to the overall product strategy
  • Direct the IT Operations and BI/Data Warehouse teams to assist in software deployment, maintenance and BI and reporting
  • Hands-on development and management of the NextGen platform
