Job Description

Looking for a Sr. Software Developer direct hire position in Burbank, CA. This position is responsible to direct and promote to the design and development of the company's systems. Very visible growth oriented position.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
Master's degree in Science a plus

  • 4-7+ years of experience involving software development
  • Expert level programming and debugging skills in PHP, Backbone/Marionette, Angular, React, SASS, Gulp and Webpack
  • Practice with responsive web design and mobile development
  • Experience with agile methodologies & full SDLC experience
  • Solid experience with PHP frameworks like Symfony, and applied knowledge of several design patterns (MVP, etc )
  • Qualified for creating and developing SOAP and REST style web services
  • Knowledge of Software Configuration Management tools such as GitHub, SVN, CVS, TFS, Chef
  • Knowledge in consumer-facing, E-commerce and mobile systems a plus
  • Proficient with MySQL, PostgreSQL or another database system, query authoring, optimization of query plans and indexing
  • Skilled with virtualization technologies such as AWS, Vagrant, VMware, VirtualBox, or Docker in development and production

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Accomplish full life cycle software development practices
  • Write well designed, testable, scalable & efficient code
  • Perform specifications (detailed workflow charts/UML diagrams) and establish operational feasibility
  • Incorporate software components into a fully functional software system
  • Modify software verification plans and quality assurance procedures with QA
