Job Description

Treetop Trekking Construction (TTT) builder and operator of Ziplines, Canopy tours, Aerial Adventure Parks, Treetop Trails, and Tree Walk Villages.
TTT seeks a qualified candidate to serve as a Salesperson with the objective to become Director of Business Development. In support of TTT's Senior Management team, the Director of Business Development is responsible for driving and supporting TTT's business and for increasing revenue, identifying and developing new business opportunities, building and expanding the presence of TTT and of our brand both nationally and internationally.

Specific duties include:
- Leading sales and client-relationship management
- Generating potential new opportunities
- Tracking new markets and emerging trends
- Developing and managing relationships with potential clients, influencers, and key stakeholders
- Evaluating new opportunities to ensure resources focus on the best opportunities
- Assisting/writing proposals, submissions, and bids
- Participating in new business contract negotiations
- Conferring with senior management to create and implement business development strategies and partnerships
- Working to assure regular client flow through parks that TTT owns and operates in the United States

The right candidate will be trustworthy, hardworking, intelligent, efficient, and able to work independently. He or she will have demonstrated the potential to manage business development at TTT, either through directly related content experience or business development responsibilities. He or she will be a confident presenter and skilled writer (including proposals and related business development materials), possess excellent commercial understanding and awareness, be an accomplished networker, and be results-driven, self-motivated and self-disciplined. Excellent analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills required. This position calls for a high degree of professionalism and discretion, as well as excellent customer relations skills. Expertise with Microsoft Office products is required. A Master's Degree is preferred. French speaking is a plus. Comfort dealing and communicating with non-native English speakers is a must.
Since this is such a specialized industry, we do understand that a certain learning curve will be required of almost any qualified candidate. Hired candidates will be required to sign a non-compete clause.

Work Conditions:
This is a full-time, work-from-home position. Some domestic travel for site visits will be involved as well as occasional international travel.
Office days and hours can be negotiated initially but will then be firm once agreed upon.
