Our Berkeley, California Office is currently looking for an entry level architectural designer to join the team. This office is comprised of a team of architects, structural and civil engineers, and the team works on a variety of projects, including governmental work, transportation, and rental car facilities. This individual will work with the team as well as individually on projects and must be self-motivated to complete projects in a timely manner. 


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Architecture from four-year accredited college or university
  • Minimum of 6 months work experience in an architectural/engineering organization (including 6 months or more experience with Revit and AutoCAD)


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Architecture
  • Working knowledge of, Photoshop, Illustrator, PowerPoint, 3ds Max, is a plus.


General Duties & Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Prepares architectural plans and renderings, including proposals, schematic design documents, and construction documents, with guidance and supervision.

2. Assists others in programming, building cost analysis, specifications and materials, code research, construction administration and project management.

3. Performs elementary design computations, makes quantity takeoffs, and may inspect architectural features of structures in the field.

4. Assist or participate in preparation of business proposals.

5 Encouraged to try to solve problems using judgment, and education, but is expected to ask for assistance when needed.

6. Keeps Senior Project Manager informed of workload and any changes in project schedule or scope or additional services.

7. Maintains company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations.

8. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
