The Public Works Department is looking for: Parks Assistant Manager Regular/Full-Time $2,084.62 - $3,130.77 biweekly

Position Summary:

The Town of Breckenridge Public Works Department, Streets and Parks Division is seeking a uniquely qualified leader for the position of Parks Assistant Manager.  The individual in this position is responsible for the operations of the Parks activities in the Streets & Parks Division including maintenance of the Town's landscaped areas, parks, irrigation systems, and street light systems, supervision of Parks staff members, and specific infrastructure relating to the Town of Breckenridge to ensure the safe traveling of the general public.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma with additional technical training in purchasing, landscape maintenance, turf maintenance, irrigation maintenance, streetlight maintenance, or related areas.The extent of formal technical training should be sufficient to demonstrate expanding knowledge and expertise in the functions described in this job description.

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience directly supervising and overseeing a public works department/division or similar type environment.

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in leading work crews, supervising teams, and/or overseeing projects.
