D3I Domain 2 Software Engineer - Entry Level (Huntsville) (Full-time)

Huntsville, AL

In preparation for contract task order bid and potential win, Torch Technologies, a 100% employee owned company, is looking to identify capable candidates. Candidates with incumbent experience are highly desired.

The successful candidate will support SMDC in sustaining, maintaining, and supporting a suite of tools including the Air and Missile Defense Explorer (AMD Explorer), Advanced Warfare Environment (AWarE), Tactical Geographic Environment (TIGER), DOMOPS Awareness and Assessment Response Tool (DAART), Imagery On-Line, Eagle Vision ROVER Response Exploitation of Space Products for Tactical Use (EVR2EST), and associated dashboards.

The candidate will support new development, prototyping, software integration, and operational and user support. Key enhancement areas are in in visualization, situational awareness, Cyber situational awareness, ISR analysis and dissemination, incident awareness and assessment.

Successful candidates are required to be proficient in one or more of the following languages: C++, C#, Java Script and libraries, Ext JS (Java Script framework for web apps), Open layers (open source Java Library for maps), PostgreSQL, .NET, HTML, XML, KML.

A Bachelor of Science degree in related field is required.

Position requires an active SECRET security clearance to access classified information. A Top Secret/SCI Clearance is highly desired. Inability to maintain a security clearance will result in candidate being ineligible for this position.
