Entry Level Modeling & Simulation Engineer (Full-time)

Huntsville, AL

Torch Technologies is currently seeking an entry level/junior Engineer/Software Developer to support CyberSecurity Test Bed efforts.

A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or other technical discipline is required with 0-5 plus year's of experience.

Responsibilities include:

Candidates must be proficient with C++ (C++11 and C++14 a plus) and object oriented design.

Expertise with Windows and Linux operating systems is required.

Experience with embedded systems, network programming, and symmetric multi-processing/multi-threading is a plus however, not required.

Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio 2013 (or later), Linux IDEs (such as Qt Creator) and software control suites such as Git, CMake, XML and Qt Toolkit is preferred.

Qualified applicants will have good programming skills, be able to work independently, and take a proactive role to assure that responsibilities are completed on or ahead of schedule.

The candidate must be able to work within a collaborative environment composed of Government, Prime Contractor, and Supporting Contractor personnel. Candidate will have excellent communication and technical writing skills.

Position requires that candidate meet possess a final security clearance in order to access classified information. Inability to maintain a security clearance will result in candidate being ineligible for this position.
