TEL's world-renowned products and technologies support diverse customer needs for the manufacture of increasingly sophisticated semiconductors.Responsibilities:- Provides technical support to field engineers, technicians, customers and product support personnel who are responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing and debugging complex electro/mechanical semiconductor processing equipment, and/or complex software- Responds to situations where first-line product support has failed to isolate or fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software- Reports design, reliability and maintenance problems or bugs to design engineering/software engineering May be involved in customer installation, technical training, and or implementation of engineering change notices- Technical support is provided by telephone, electronic messaging or on-site at customer facilities as needed- Provides support to customer/users where the product is highly technical or sophisticated in nature- Occasional domestic and overseas travel may be necessaryQualifications:- Requires minimum of BS in technical discipline or Chemistry. Mechanical, electronics, or chemical engineering preferred.- Semiconductor industry experience, specifically SPS or CT experience, preferredPhysical Requirements:Job duties are often performed in confined areas in a clean room environment, in awkward positions and/or in high places. Mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity and ability to lift/carry objects up to 35 pounds is required. May require bending/stooping/crawling/climbing.
