The Merchandise Control Internship Program will give you the skills and experience to jumpstart your career within our TJX Global Distribution Network.

The TJX Distribution Centers are the hubs of our worldwide logistics operation. Our DC Merchandise Teams are comprised of entrepreneurial problem solvers who are responsible for millions of units in inventory, developing creative plans to optimize the flow of merchandise, as well as engaging and inspiring their teams. Being a Fortune 100 company and the leading off-price retailer of apparel and home fashions in the U.S. and worldwide, it is essential that our Distribution Centers are running efficiently and effectively to fuel our growing multi-billion dollar businesses.

The Opportunity:

* Become a part of a global network of merchandise operations leaders charged with ensuring that TJX is positioned to deliver amazing value to our customer's every day.
* Support merchandise leaders within the DC with plans set by Corporate Merchandising Planning and Allocations Teams.
* Develop an understanding of DC Merchandise and vendor relations.
* Learn how product is managed and review product mix of color, size, style and quantity of merchandise purchased for store distribution.
* Influence strategic decisions to help improve distribution/merchandise operations.

Who We Are Looking For:

* Recent Grads as well as Rising Juniors and Seniors currently enrolled in a 4 year degree program
* Fashion & Merchandising majors preferred but not required
* Recent college graduates will also be considered

* Strong analytical thinking and complex problem-solving skills
* Proven leadership experience, team collaboration and strong communication skills
* The confidence and flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment
* An entrepreneurial drive and business acumen
* Prior retail experience is a plus
