What part will you play?

WWTVM seeks an Intern to assist with day-to-day operations of department for worldwide projects pertaining to current and library television titles. This internship is designed to expose students interested in pursuing careers in photography. Strong interest in photography is essential. This intern may have the opportunity to:

* Assist in managing photographic, key art and logo assets including researching and pulling photos for media and internal requests.
* Work the DF Studio, MARS and WBITV digital asset management systems loading, maintaining and checking captions/restrictions on digital images.
* Liaise with network counterparts to receive and deliver episodic coverage and with Creative Services to deliver gallery photography and receive finished marketing assets.
* Facilitate publicity and marketing image usage approvals.
* Create look books/tip sheets for events.
* Assist with image color/density correction and light retouching.
* Maintain and update media contacts lists.
* Assist the Finance Consultant in the billing process of invoices and timecards for photographers and various vendors.
* Possibly assist with photo shoot logistics (provided studio-run shoots occur during internship).

What do we require from you?

* Actively enrolled in college or trade school, with a major or strong emphasis on photography.
* Experience and strong interest in Photography essential.
* Experience with photo editing and/or retouching a plus.
* Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop.
* Working knowledge of photo management software (Lightroom, Photomechanic) a plus.
* Must be able to work in an extremely fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
* Must be able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Must have strong communication & organizational skills and ability to effectively interact with all levels of personnel, clients & vendors.
* Must have ability to pay close attention to details.
* Must have ability to organize.
* Self-starter, interested in learning all aspects of marketing/publicity and photography.
