What part will you play?

Warner Bros. International Television Distribution seeks a Non-Scripted Development Associate for the ITVD Local Production department. The Development Associate will support the Vice President in development and acquisitions of formats while overseeing North American local production and pitches.

* Managing work flow: incoming submissions, pitch follow-ups, status reports including cross division communications regarding production calendars, collecting materials for bibles, new creative, market planning, etc.
* Overseeing office management and administration i.e. schedules and expenses.
* Adapting internal production company projects from global teams to help package before escalating to WBTV, Warner Horizon, Telepictures, Shed US.
* Modifying sizzle reels, creating pitch documents and overseeing the creation of new materials to further the appeal of each project to help with the sales in new territories worldwide.
* Identifying new 3rd party concepts from US and international production companies.

What do we require from you?

* College degree in related field strongly preferred
* Must have 3-6 years of development and/or current programming experience from a studio, network, and/or production company.
* Previous experience with an international business preferred.
* Must have proficiency with Windows, PC and Mac, Word, Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Google Docs, and Photoshop.
* Advanced Internet search/research, knowledge of Final Cut Pro and basic logging/digitizing of media is a plus.
* Ability to generate creative ideas for projects.
* Excellent communication skills, especially in being able to deal effectively with individuals of many cultural backgrounds from many international regions.
* Must be able to communicate effectively and tactfully with all levels of personnel, both in person and on the telephone.
* Flexible to deal with occasional off-hours work to support the executive who is functioning in time zones around the globe.
* Familiarity with foreign languages (Spanish, Japanese, French, German, or Italian) preferred.
* Must be able to work well under time constraints in a fast paced environment.
* Ability to multi-task, organize and schedule work effectively.
* Must be detail-oriented.
* Must be able to work flexible hours, including overtime, if and when necessary.
* Must be able to travel to all markets/territories and attend creative meetings.
