Job Ad

Support Timberland's Footwear Development team to produce world class products, which meet or exceed company and category expectations with regard to brand integrity, design, product innovation and cost.

How You Will Make a Difference:

* Assist team in completing color-ups through commercialization and on time buy ready. Monitor (track, organize and distribute) all related development samples.
* Attend component and leather meetings. Attend TBLU and required Stratham professional development classes as scheduled.
* Manage seasonal updates to Product Line Management (outsole numbers, factory, specs, color cads, pattern/sku attributes, and leather).
* Manage and track materials. Work with suppliers and review testing reports with Developers and the materials team to learn Timberland quality requirements.
* Manage the buy ready process to create reports and manage the weekly tracking and organization of the process.
* Work with Senior Developer / Associate Developer to understand the PD process
* Demonstrate desire, motivation and a passion to increase depth of knowledge and become an asset to the team. Work with engineering team to coordinate all fitting.

Skills for Success:

Years of Related Professional Experience: 0-3

Educational/ Position Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Engineering, Industrial Design or related field.
* Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure and time constraints.
* Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical skills are required; ability to apply systems knowledge to troubleshoot and analyze new issues is critical.
* Must be a self-starter, able to work independently with a proactive working style.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Special Physical and/or Mental Requirements:

* Lifting and/or bending, lifting 10 lbs of weight.
