PRIMARY OBJECTIVE:

Provide financial and business support to the Government (Gov) segment. This position will play a key role in providing decision making support to the Gov leadership to optimize sales and revenue growth.

MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:

* Establish strong business partnerships with the segment management team to provide finance and business leadership, including recommendations to assist with key business decisions
* Partner with Sales, Revenue and Expense COE's to ensure data needs of the business are in alignment
* Provide sales and revenue performance to the organization with on-point analysis
* Think creatively to assist the business in generating ideas to grow sales and revenue.
* Collaborate with compensation and commission business partners to deliver accurate and timely results
* Provide insight and analysis on monthly pipeline and KPI's
* Support presentation materials for sales leaders and segment leaders for business updates, annual plan and quarterly report outs
* Initiate continual process improvement efforts that enhance timeliness and accuracy
* Perform ad-hoc reporting and analysis as needed

REQUIREMENTS:

* Undergraduates degree in Finance or Accounting required; MBA or CPA preferred
* 7+ years experience in accounting or finance
* Proven project management skills with the ability to handle a diverse workload with tight time frame requirements and competing resources
* Prior experience with revenue and sales preferred
* Strong experience in financial accounting, management accounting, fFinancial analysis, financial modeling, planning, forecasting and management reporting experience.
* Ability to interact and influence business leaders in a dynamic business environment, including formal presentations
* Ability to interact with all levels of management
* Strong project management, communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to influence and work with peers within a highly matrixed environment
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; working knowledge of Microsoft Access, Hyperion, SAP and Tableau highly desirable
