Job Description

Third Federal Savings & Loan Association is seeking a Database Administrator, with strong technical skills, excellent customer service skills and passion for database technologies.

As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for installation, configuration, and administration of multiple databases. The successful candidate will also be involved in future upgrades, working with .NET Developers and engineering performance recommendations.


    • Primary support for multiple SQL Server databases
    • Assist in maintaining and administration of Oracle databases and applications such as EBS and HRMS
    • Develop and Deploy SSIS Jobs
    • Support and administer Microsoft Reporting Services
    • Maintain Backup and Recovery procedures
    • Troubleshoot database issues
    • Apply Service Packs and hot fixes as necessary
    • Optimize and monitor database performance
    • Apply best practices to security standards
    • Participate on project teams
    • Maintain and update disaster recovery plans
    • Sarbanes Oxley Reporting


    • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
    • 3+ years full time experience as a Microsoft SQL Database Administrator
    • Detailed knowledge of SQL Server 2008 - 2016
    • Database Design proficiency
    • Basic Windows administration skills
    • Excellent written and verbal skills
    • Strong Team and organization skills
    • Experience designing disaster recovery and contingency planning
    • Microsoft SQL server training and or certifications preferred
