Our Finance Divisional Services (FDS) exists to improve the performance of the Finance division by optimizing our investments in human capital, developing high performing crew and enabling effective ways of working. The Crew Attraction & Development team (CAD) within FDS is committed to capitalizing on these capabilities within the team and enabling Finance to be successful with strategic outcomes.

The Project Manager will oversee a variety of programs using new ways of working, Lean, AGILE and other methodologies. This role will manage crew attraction, development, and retention programs and projects balancing them with the needs of many individuals, including the most senior levels of Finance leadership. In this role you will:

* Identify current and future hiring needs, aligning business need to talented pools, recommending the best ways to source talent for our organization and creating programs (or refreshing existing programs) to meet future needs.
* Implement best in class succession planning, career pathing, workforce planning and rotational programs to ensure Finance is set up for future talent succession and all talent gaps are filled.
* Ensure Finance is a top talent destination for Vanguard - through ambassador and alumni programs, attracting key critical people into key critical roles, and more formal officer advocacy/championship.
* Manage projects or multiple work streams within a broader project or program. Develop, implement, and monitor project plans. Contribute expertise to major project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks.
* Provide insight on best practices and common obstacles based on prior experiences. Serves as a trusted advisor to ensure projects are aligned with the overall company strategy and market conditions.
* Communicate project status and issues regularly to stakeholders, including leaders, team members, and senior managers.
* Build and maintain effective relationships. Proactively foster communication between internal and external project stakeholders. Influence key decisions across stakeholder groups.
* What it takes:

* Minimum of five years related work experience.
* Two years of managing a project preferred.
* Financial Services and function-specific experience preferred.
* Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience required. Graduate degree preferred.
