Job Description

Marketing and Recruiting Coordinator

Collins College of Business This position is primarily responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of marketing efforts and student recruitment for The University of Tulsa's Graduate Business Programs (GBP).

The Marketing and Recruiting Coordinator reports to the Director of Marketing and Student Services. This is a full-time position, typical hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. This position requires up to 35% travel, in and out of state. The Collins College of Business currently enrolls 250 graduate business students and offers the following graduate programs:

Full-Time Master of Business Administration, Master of Business Administration for Working Professionals, Master of Science in Business Analytics, Master of Science in Finance, Master of Accountancy, Master of Energy Business, and Master of Science in Global Energy.

The Graduate Programs Office is part of the Williams Student Services Center, which provides advising, enrollment and career development services for both undergraduate and graduate business programs.

Characteristic Duties Assists in implementation of marketing and advertising campaigns Manages digital advertising campaigns (Google AdWords, LinkedIn Advertising, and Facebook Advertising) in accordance with Graduate Business Programs marketing strategy Manages the Graduate Business Programs social media accounts in accordance with Graduate Business Programs marketing strategy Assists in creation of marketing and promotional materials Tracks inventory of Graduate Business Programs promotional material and maintains stock Evaluates effectiveness of marketing strategy and prepares marketing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing student data Utilizes Customer Relationship Management software (Recruit) to manage database of prospective students Implements recruiting strategies, including initial contact, follow-up and assessment for qualified contacts.

Manages inquiries and contacting students via phone, email and face-to-face Consults with prospective students to determine educational needs, concerns, and interests Travels to universities, colleges, and corporations to conduct presentations to promote programs to prospective students (local, in-state, and out of state travel) Works with the Director of Marketing, Assistant Dean, and the Associate Dean to determine recruiting schedule/strategy Adheres to Graduate Business Programs recruiting budget Works with the Assistant Dean to compile and report annual survey information and recruiting statistics Coordinates activities with other Graduate Business Programs personnel Other duties as assigned by the Director of Marketing and Student Services.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field with at least one year of relevant experience;

• Strong organizational skills;

• Exceptional communication, presentation, interpersonal, and writing skills;

• Demonstrated knowledge and ability to implement marketing campaigns;

• Strong attention to detail;

• Ability to manage time effectively and demonstrate excellent follow up skills;

• Excellent computer skills, including MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite (specifically In Design, Photoshop, and Illustrator).

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least three years of marketing experience in higher education admissions, recruiting or other intangible sales;

• Experience maintaining a budget;

• Experience coordinating in and out of state travel.
