Job Description

The Integration Engineer I will work closely with the Integration Engineer II to produce ETLs used to transform client data.

This position will also entail the loading of this data into an account receivables systems. This role will have exposure to development, project management, databases and many other technical functions. Creating ETL models via the Pervasive Data Integrator IDE (or sometimes foregoing the IDE and just jumping straight into the XML behind the scenes) to transform financial healthcare data files provided to us in a variety of formats (Excel, csv, multi-record, etc.) into the formats we need them to be in (fixed length text or XML ) required for loading into applications used across the company. Querying SQL Server 2012 databases both in staging and production to integrate existing account data into a model undergoing development or provide ad hoc reporting. Implementing departmental organizational structures and building up documentation library to aid in effectiveness of team workflow and cross training. Executing models when new client files arrive via ftp upload along with troubleshooting and coordinating with client points of contact when necessary to achieve resolution. Troubleshooting.


  • Ownership of the daily data processing and loading.
  • Facilitates communication between clients and/or personnel regarding the status of data processing.
  • Provides quality control functions related to incoming data.
  • Maintains ETL processes to ensure data veracity.
  • Develops new ETLs used for client onboarding.
  • Manages the data hold queue and ensures prompt resolution.
  • Analyzes and evaluates policies and procedures followed by department and propose new policies/procedures and/or revisions to existing policies/procedures to ensure maximum operational efficiency.
  • Ensures compliance with Federal regulations, state statutes, bankruptcy laws, FDCPA and all other applicable laws and regulations governing activities.


  • 2 years of software development experience
  • 2 years of database development experience
  • Proven ability to organize and maintain fluid information.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills using Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet Explorer and Outlook software.
  • Well organized and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to manage time and effectively multi-task.
