Acts as systems specialist and project manager for the Wexner Center for the Arts; documents, leads and drives technological process improvements in assigned areas; as it relates to information technology provides timely, accurate and thorough communication of key outcomes; serves as liaison and point of contact for major internal and external technology systems and partners, including the center's point of sale and ticketing system, the university's Advancement System (TAS), and the university's OCIO team as it relates to the center's service agreement, Help Desk support and special projects; designs, develops, tests and maintains queries and reporting systems to support operational processing and reporting; conducts research and analysis to support technology planning, decision-making and problem solving; designs, develops and implements basic to moderately complex programs and/or modifications of existing applications.

Able to work standard university business hours with occasional after-hours support on emergency or project basis, including regular application patching during off-hours; in accordance with the Disaster Preparedness and University State of Emergency Policy 6.17, this position has been designated as a standby position; requires successful completion of a background check prior to start date.

Bachelor's degree in computer science/computer technology, management information systems, business administration or equivalent combination of education and experience; strong time and project management skills; experience with and strong working knowledge of Access, Excel, SSRS, and SQL; knowledge of program logic, analysis, specification design, and report formatting; work experience in developing technical and user documentation; strong communication skills; knowledge and experience with information systems and business practices.
