Clinic Coordinator that plans, administers, and oversees professional student clinical assignments for internal and external clinic rotations and other education activities in the College of Optometry; creates and manages all internal and external clinic service schedules for all Optometry interns and externs; initiates and maintains correspondence with external sites; inputs and maintains accurate intern, extern, and attending schedules within clinic management software; coordinates and manages clinic leave and immunization and CPR compliance records for Optometry clinical attendings; develops and manages clinic credentialing and privileging documentation for attending Optometrists; maintains accurate and up to date files and administrative documents for internal and external clinic assignments; coordinates clinic attending peer review program, systems Administrator for data management system (Meditrek) which records student/patient encounters, intern, extern, & attending/preceptor assignments, intern and extern performance assessments, and teaching performance evaluations; assist in the coordination and planning of Keystone II; assist in the management of residency program; assist with development of clinic policies and procedures in collaboration with faculty and administrators; assists in the management of the extern program, coordinates travel plans and reimbursements for preceptor conference attendees; attends committee or task force meetings as a representative of main campus optometry services as required; member of clinic committee and clinic staff committee, functioning as recording secretary for both.
