Job Description

Our client, an East side manufacturer of a specialty item, is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support the Human Resources Manager in all departmental and operational goals related to Human Resources. This individual will be involved with recommending and implementing personnel policies and procedures; updating and maintaining job descriptions. In addition, the HR Generalist will be involved in the recruiting process and be responsible for all relevant reports.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • A minimum of 2 years experience in an HR Generalist role
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing experience in a Human Resources role
  • Proficiency in MS Office and other software packages
  • Must have experience with an HRIS system
  • A Bachelor's Degree is required, preferably in Human Resources or Business Administration; PHR or SPHR certification is preferred
