Job Description

Our client, a Cleveland based industrial services company, is seeking a Human Resources Generalist. This individual reports to the Director of HR, and supports the company business units and employees.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Preparing all reports regarding HR matters to submit to management
  • Recruiting employees for non-exempt hourly positions
  • Handling Federal and State unemployment claims; employment verifications; Worker's Compensation claims.
  • Assist with payroll for all employees; work with the Director of HR for Benefit review
  • Maintain all personnel records for all employees

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3-5 years experience in HR in an industrial environment
  • Proven background and experience in maintaining a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred; as a minimum our client will accept an Associates Degree
  • Microsoft Office skills and HRIS experience
  • Must have knowledge of applicable State and Federal HR laws, policies and procedures
