Job Description

Our client, a technical sales organization focused on the marketing & distribution of specialty chemical products, is seeking a multi-tasking Administrative Assistant to join the Sales Support Team. This individual will be responsible for providing accurate and timely information to increase the efficiency of the Sales force.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support a Sales Team of 6-7 sales people
  • Perform daily job functions in the database program
  • Enter and follow up on sample requests; compose letters; perform inventory look-up; pricing & research
  • Create & maintain various documents utilizing Excel
  • Receptionist/Outgoing mail duties once a week
  • Additional projects as assigned

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3 years of office experience
  • Relevant computer skills (MS Office - Word, Excel & Outlook), coupled with strong typing skills
  • Ability to conduct business and perform duties in a professional manner
  • Team player; adaptable to change
