Job Description

Our client, a well-established Realestate Development & Property Management company, is seeking a Payroll & Accounts Payable Clerk to assist the company's Accounting Department.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

  • Document scanning for payables
  • Processing payroll; reviewing, checking, inputting & reconciling field payroll time sheets & reports
  • Post & balance General Ledger for 32 properties
  • Scan, code, review vendor invoices and utilities serving 1600 apartments; 2300 HUD subsidized apartments; 200 commercial office space unities
  • Maintain good relationships with vendors regarding questions or problems
  • Maintain good relations with property managers approving invoices
  • Balance, sort & clear checks for bank reconciliations

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Office Experience in Accounts Payable and Payroll
  • Strong Bookkeeping and Numbers aptitude
  • Proficiency in MS Word & Excel; experience with Sales/Timberline software preferred but not required
  • HUD experience preferred but not required
