Case Administrator

The Office of the Chapter 13 Trustee for the Western District of Pennsylvania Seeks a highly-motivated, detailed-oriented individual to serve as a case administrator. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in accounting concepts, mortgages, loan documents/contracts, taxes and windows based software. Organization, accuracy and critical thinking skills is a must while processing a high-volume caseload. Legal experience is helpful but not essential. The candidate must be willing to submit to a background check and credit history.

The mission of the Chapter 13 Trustee Office is to implement the Congressional mandate of alternative rehabilitative relief for consumer debtors who wish to repay their creditors from their periodic disposable income rather than from a liquidation of their non-exempt assets; to monitor the conduct of the parties in interests; and to take action to ensure their compliance with applicable bankruptcy statutes, caselaw, rules, and procedures. .
