The Millcraft Paper Company is a privately-owned business headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio. Now in its fourth generation as a family-owned company, Millcraft balances our valuable history with our strategic vision on an exciting and sustainable future. Millcraft partners solidly with our customers and suppliers, enabling us to provide a robust line of fine papers, packaging, wide-format, craft brew supplies, and more.

Ours is a place where fresh ideas are encouraged and heard; where the President knows all 250 employees by first name and interacts with them all; where balance is achieved between working smart and having fun; where accomplishments are recognized!

We have a need for a Human Resources Generalist - with an emphasis on recruiting but with opportunity to spread your wings into the realm of Wellness, benefits, safety, and many more.

Drive the recruiting and selection process by preparing job descriptions, job postings and advertisements, screening applications, arranging interviews, supporting the selection process, administering pre-employment tests as required, completing formal offers for employment, and processing all related paperwork for payroll purposes. ADP Recruiting Module. Applicant tracking and analysis.

HR metrics and reporting.

Wellness Committee Leader from design to delivery. VERY exciting and fun!

Employee data collection and timely reporting to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEO-1).

Onboarding new employees.

Safety Committee member and Safety advocate.

Assist in compliance related initiatives including OSHA, DOT and others. Maybe not THE most exciting part, but necessary and valuable.

Employee relations at varying levels.

This position provides great opportunity to grow and expand and take on new things.

Travel within the Midwest - low to moderate.

Well-developed technical proficiency. MS Office expertise with a high emphasis in Excel, Word, PPT, and Outlook. Knowledge of ADP is very helpful.

Proven ability to coordinate and participate in the recruiting process from sourcing to screening and pre-selection. Tenacity to recruit for very diverse positions from Warehouse Associates and Drivers to new Sales Associates and more. We recruit online, at college recruiting events, from referrals, and many more.

Excellent administrative skills and the ability to work in a highly efficient and accurate manner.

Established and proven successful human resources generalist experience including broad knowledge of HR subject matter.

World-class customer service philosophy and mentality. We employ 250 people and every one of them is HR's customer.

Highly developed and polished interpersonal, communication and organization skills. Great writing abilities.

Strong organization, follow-up and time management skills. Really; all job descriptions say this, but you really do need to manage time well and juggle lots of priorities without screaming audibly.

Professional image and the ability to effectively represent the company both externally and internally are essential, as is the ability to interact with all levels of the organization. You have found the balance in being approachable and fun to be around, and a mature HR professional who fosters trust and integrity.

3-5 years of generalist experience; distribution experience would be really great!

4-year degree or equivalent work experience with broad concentration (versus specialist) in Human Resources is preferred.
