Job Description

The Middlefield Banking Company is a full service FDIC-insured commercial bank operating 14 branches and an LPL Financial® brokerage office in Northeast and Central Ohio. The Bank also operates a Loan Production Office in Mentor, Ohio. We are continually recognized as one of the most profitable community banks in the U.S.

We will be growing in the summer of 2018 with the opening of our newest branch in Powell!

We are currently seeking a full time lead customer service representative for our new branch.

In this position you will:

  • Work directly with customers to build relationships and provide products and services to satisfy their needs.

  • Open new accounts.

  • Support and promote all bank products and services

  • Receive and process all transactions including but, not limited to, check cashing, deposits, loan payments, cashier checks and money orders.

  • Reconcile teller drawer; balance currency, coin and checks.

  • Count and balance cash in ATM and night depository

  • Ensure that each customer transaction is accurate.

  • Adhere to general bank regulatory procedures and bank policies including BSA.

To be considered you will need:

  • Outstanding customer service skills.

  • High School Diploma and some college preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 year related experience in the banking industry is requested.

  • Basic math skills are required.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and proficient in bank information systems and software.
