Job Description

The Middlefield Banking Company is a $1.1B publicly traded bank operating 14 branches, a LPL Financial® brokerage and a Loan Production Office in Northeast and Central Ohio.

We are continually recognized as one of the most profitable community banks in the U.S.

We are currently seeking a dynamic Marketing Communications Director to lead and develop our marketing communications programs, from high-level strategy to day-to-day execution. You will be responsible for presenting a cohesive company story through various communications channels. The Middlefield Banking Company is growing and we need someone who is driven, resourceful and with good communications skills to get the job done.

This position will be located in Middlefield, Ohio.

In this position you will:

    • Devise an aggressive and creative marketing and communications plan that supports overall company growth goals
        • Build effective relationships with all department leaders
            • Manage company website and other social media campaigns
                • Develop marketing collateral, such as brochures, flyers, etc..,
                    • Measure and report the market impact marketing efforts are having on the Bank's goals and its quantifiable contribution

                      You will possess:

                        • Bachelors degree in marketing, communications, advertising or related field is required.
                            • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role in a similar size company- Banking experience is a plus.
                                • Excellent written and oral communication skills with proficiency in building clear, compelling value propositions that can be expressed in a variety of media.
                                    • Excellent interpersonal skills, with ability to work across functional areas at varying levels of the Bank.
                                        • Passion for providing top notch customer service experience leading to sales generation.
                                            • A can-do attitude with ability to be hands-on to deliver marketing and communications initiatives.
                                                • Must be comfortable rolling up sleeves to get projects completed.
                                                    • A data-driven approach and result-driven thinking.
