Job Description

We are in search of at IT health care professional who has advanced experience working with enterprise level ETL tools; using SSIS or other ETL tools such as Talend, CDC, Very Strong SQL skills manipulating SQL based databases and database objects.
To be considered you MUST have a minimum 4 years of experience designing, implementing and troubleshooting ETL solutions integrating multiple data sources, including data analysis and solution modelling. Strong organizational and verbal communication skills are a must.

It is a plus if you have the following skill sets:
  • Extensive working knowledge of the Epic healthcare platform
  • Experience in the IT Healthcare industry and with clinical applications
  • Experience with source code control tools such as SVN or Bitbucket
  • Involved in projects using agile methodologies
  • Strong Java skills
  • Demonstrated experience on web technologies
  • Expertise in SOAP/REST web services
 Our client company is not a hospital but rather operates corporate clinics all across the USA which means you will be working with their clients, vendors and other departments to fully gather and document data content, formats, transfer mechanisms, and security aspects for data exchanges.

More of what you can expect to do in this role:
  • Use ETL tools such as SSIS and Talend to design and develop advanced integrations between file based data, Microsoft SQL and other system's databases based on those requirements
  • Design and develop database objects (tables, stored procedures, views, etc.) necessary to support ETL processes
  • Analyze, modify, test and troubleshoot integrations to improve function and performance, demonstrating sound analytic and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to write and enhance Technical specifications based on functional specifications
  • Coordinate and communicate with other developers, PMs, BSAs, QA team, Tech Ops and individuals from other groups
  • Adherence to architecture standards, risk management and security policies, and best practice development
  • Provide management, clients and other teams with timely and accurate information on progress and the potential impact of issues
  • Demonstrate the ability to enhance team productivity through your involvement and contributions

Salary is based on years of experience. Relocation assistance possible. Outstanding benefits: Medical/Dental/Vision-person pays approximately 20% of premium cost (industry standard is 30%), PTO, Matching 401k-after a year of employment is eligible for a  3% match at 100% and an additional 2% at 50%.
