Software Integration Test Engineer

Farmington, MI

Job Summary of the Software Integration Test Engineer
Our client, a well-established supplier of vehicle safety technology is looking for a software Integration Test Engineer to be apart of their growing team. In this role you will be supporting the organization by developing and executing Embedded software integration tests for safety critical applications. This is a great opportunity to work with the leaders in the organization. If you have good experience in Embedded software testing along with strong knowledge of V-Cycle and c level programming, then you are an ideal candidate for this position.. 

Responsibilities of the Software Integration Test Engineer
  • Analyze Software Architecture Design in EA.
  • Develop Software Integration Test Specification following set methods and processes.
  • Test execution for the test plan.
  • Use of J-Scripts for test scripts development.
  • Create and provide updated report to Test Lead on project planning, tracking and oversight on regular basis.
  • Suggest product process or infrastructure improvements.

Qualifications of the Software Integration Test Engineer
  • BSCS/BSCE/BSEE along with test automation experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in Embedded software testing with V-Cycle knowledge.
  • Embedded software testing experience at Black Box and White Box level.
  • Experience with automotive and control applications such as CAN, SPI etc.
  • Knowledge of software development life cycle process activities.
  • Skilled in programming languages such as C, JavaScript, Python, Perl and VB macro.
  • Experience with electronic test equipment like oscilloscope, function generator, power supply, etc.
  • Experience with Embedded software and automotive testing tools like Compilers, Debuggers Vector Canalyzer, Logical Analyzer, etc.
  • Knowledge of Automotive SPICE Standard and Diagnostics Standards (ISO14229).
  • Knowledge of DOORS Requirements Management and Logical Analyzer.
  • Experience/knowledge of infineon Microcontroller tools such as Compiler, Emulator, Simulator.
  • Basic knowledge about Enterprise Architect, Greenhills/IAR, Eclipse, Tasking Compiler, iSYSTEM WinIdea, Vector Canalyzer and MKS Source Integrity.

Compensation of the Software Integration Test Engineer
Salary Range:  $75,000-95,000/year, depending on experience 

Location: Southeast MI
Type:  Direct
Travel:  As required
Relocation Assistance:  Subject to review
