Job Description

Director IT Security, Risk and Compliance

Excellent opportunity to join a very established, stable organization as their Director of IT Security, Risk and Compliance based out of a facility in the near north suburbs of Chicago or their offices near Loveland, CO. As Director, you will hold the most senior role in Security and will lead the strategic security planning and provide vision and leadership for developing information security initiatives, policies and standards. In addition, you will manage their Managed Security Services provider; perform risk assessments and manage security audits and reviews; and lead and develop security, risk and compliance team members including the IT Security Manager. The Director of IT Security, Risk and Compliance will identify and evaluate security risks during acquisitions and divestitures; manage global security relevant projects; lead the Security Incident Response Team; manage and implement an ongoing Global Security Awareness Plan; and develop and manage security related capital and expense budget expenditures. * 8+ years of overall experience including a minimum 5 years in a management/leadership role and 6 years in IT security.

* One or more security based certifications ( CISSP, CISA, Security+, CISM, GSEC, CITP ). PMP is a plus.

* Strong understanding of business fundamentals and how it relates to security.

* Understanding of project management, auditing, risk management and disaster recovery planning principles.

* Experience working in a global manufacturing organization is a plus.

* Excellent communication, leadership, project management and interpersonal skills.

* BA/BS Degree in Computer Science, Math, Communications, Business Admin or related field.

* Ability to travel 25% of the time, primarily domestically and occasionally internationally.
