Job Description

The DiMarco Group is a full-service development company that applies design and building concepts to meet 21st century building needs. The primary duty of the Project Engineer will be to assist the Site Superintendent with the day-to-day management of on-site operations - from project preparation through final acceptance by the client - ensuring projects are completed in accordance with the approved design, within the established budget and on time. Duties include coordinating project documentation as required by contract; assisting with the coordination and scheduling of all on-site activities; documentation of any and all field problems; and ongoing client and subcontractor relations.

Duties / Responsibilities

* Monitoring and enforcement of OSHA safety requirements
* Daily field requirements and photo documentation
* Submittal and RFI processing and management
* Writing purchase orders
* Document all meetings
* Documentation and reporting relating to storm water management
* Assist in processing Subcontractor and Owner change orders
* Turnover and closeout requirements
* Atleast a 2-year degree in Construction Technology program
* Knowledge of and demonstrated ability to use scheduling software (e.g. Microsoft Project), Word and Excel
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills necessary
* Construction field experience
* Technical training; degree in engineering or other construction-related field desired.
* Ability to work nights and weekends along with overnight travel required.
