Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an Intern who will work with our Architectural Building Supply team in Salt Lake City, Utah for eight weeks during summer 2020.

Essential Functions

* Work within the company to apply what you have learned to our business - all assignments will add value to both our company and to your development as a professional in the field
* Provide administrative and technical support to estimating, engineering, and project management teams
* Work with Estimators and Project Managers to assist in bid process
* Keep project files orderly and current
* Enter applicable information into Comsense, C&B's industry based software platform
* Manage project changes, revisions, and change order documents and update those revisions in Comsense

Minimum Qualifications

* Self-directed and motivated
* Strong Verbal and written communication skills
* Excellent computer skills
* Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

* Effective time management skills
* Must have excellent oral communication skills and positive interpersonal skills.
* Good mathematical skills
* Strong organizational skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel
* Preferred special skills include blueprint/plan reading, specification interpretation, knowledge of industry related software

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear and see. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hand to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.

Work Environment

This job operates primarily in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
